Karen Schwarz is a National Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Certified Master Neurolinguistic Programmer, a Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse counselor, and has a Master's Degree in Psychology.
She has provided mental health and chemical dependency counseling in both the private and public sector since 1984, for agencies and in private practice, has supervised other counselors, and has directed an outpatient chemical dependency program.
Karen has over 170 hours of hypnotherapy training, and has successfully provided hypnotherapy services since 2006.
She has presentated trainings to other professionals on Counselor Ethics, Counselor/Client Relationships, Diagnosing Substance Abuse and Dependence, Hypnosis, and Group Therapy Process.
Karen has completed alcohol/drug evaluations for federal and local agencies, courts, attorneys and employers.
She has also been a successful recipient of hypnosis as a competitive athlete, winning a 1987 national powerlifting championship. |
